I’m Fabio — Spanish teacher, cultural storyteller and restless human being. I’ve been helping students from around the world fall in love with Spanish for nearly ten years. But my journey here wasn’t exactly planned.
I originally set out to study Fine Arts, and even considered a career in anthropology or ancient history. But life took me elsewhere. I started teaching early, giving private lessons to friends and family, and it didn’t take long to realise I had a gift for it — and a deep joy in watching others grow.
So I got my degree in Education and eventually opened my own academy. While teaching, I also explored my passion for the arts: I painted, I acted on stage, and I took a leap of faith by moving to Madrid to chase new dreams. I’ve worked in private academies, taught in public schools, and guided dozens of students to pass the DELE exam. But what I truly love most is what I do now: helping people express their truest self in Spanish, no matter where they come from.
Today I work as a full-time online teacher and digital nomad, and I get to explore the world every day — without even leaving my chair — through the stories, struggles and cultures of my students.
I’m a certified DELE examiner and former public school teacher with nearly a decade of experience. I’ve taught everyone from complete beginners to high-level learners, and while I enjoy helping people reach academic goals, what moves me the most is this:

I specialise in working with teenagers and adults — students who are ready to connect, reflect and grow through the language. I don’t usually teach young children, not because I don’t care, but because I believe they need a more physical, playful approach that’s hard to recreate on a screen.

Some come for DELE certification, others simply want to feel more at home in Spanish. But all of them want something real, and that’s exactly what I offer: authentic, human-centric learning.
My classes are alive. Structured, yes. Clear, always. But also spontaneous, emotional, and full of life. I bring Spanish to life through music, storytelling, cultural comparisons, local expressions, personal anecdotes and shared laughter. You might learn about the subjunctive in one class… and end up discussing a Mexican legend or an Andalusian folk tale in the same session. Whether you want to pass an exam, gain fluency for travel or dive into cultural topics, I’ll adapt to your needs and goals. I take time to understand who you are, what you love, how you think — and I build lessons that reflect that. Every class becomes a small journey. For me, teaching Spanish isn’t about grammar rules. It’s about connection. It’s about helping you talk about your own life, thoughts, culture, and ideas — in a language that starts to feel like your own.
